1. Data Philosophy

At Verifan, we believe privacy is a feature, not a legal hurdle. We collect the minimum amount of data required to verify humans and prevent bots. We do not sell your data, and we never will.

2. What We Collect

For Creators:

When you create an account, we store your email address and basic profile information provided by your authentication provider (e.g., Google or GitHub). We also store the configuration of your gates and connection tokens for your Telegram groups.

For Fans:

When a fan attempts to pass a gate, we may collect their IP address temporarily to prevent brute-force attacks. If the creator has enabled email capture, we store the email address provided by the fan. We do not track fans across the web.

3. Data Usage

We use your data solely to:

• Facilitate the Verifan gate verification process.
• Provide creators with analytics on gate performance.
• Ensure the security and integrity of our bot-filtering system.
• Communicate essential platform updates to creators.

4. Third-Party Services

We use a limited number of trusted partners to provide our service:

• Supabase: For secure database and authentication.
• Telegram: To facilitate group invites and bot interactions.
• Dodo Payments: For secure payment processing (we do not store credit card numbers).
• Resend: For transactional email delivery.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access, export, or delete your data at any time. Creators can delete their gates and accounts directly from the dashboard. For data deletion requests, please contact us at privacy@verifan.app.
